I always liked the violin and I know for sure why. Maybe because since childhood I had the tendency to associate with its unique melody most beloved passages of my life.

I think it is an indispensable if one wishes to convey such lightness in all of us.

Are precisely those passages to which my memory refers almost instantly, especially if the night is silent, sad and slightly raining when get caught by a song by Matti ...

Here a small overview of this Spanish quintet, told by its protagonists:

, cuando César Bueno y Samanta Martínez comienzan a trabajar sobre bases creadas por el primero, en su estudio personal. Matti's story dates back to late 2005, when Samantha Martinez Cesar Bueno and start working on foundation created by the first, in his study. His first recording consists of 6 items in French, that recall classic pop styles, melodic, referring to Dominique A., Autour de Lucie or Francoise Hardy.

In May 2006 they record in Montreal Studios-owned by Hans Krüger (Delorean, Half Foot Outside, etc..) - What will be their first full length entitled Tu Es Mes Yeux (You're My Eyes), self-published and distributed by Underhill Records, under the sub-label Tell Me A Riddle.

The music of this first album complements the traditional sounds of pop-rock, with various synthesizers and sounds of Rhodes piano and classical sounds of strings, violins and cellos, singing entirely in French.

For this initial work has been supported on keyboards Eduardo Martinez (ex - keyboardist for the Red Room, currently Lek Mun) and batteries Eduardo Ugarte (Half Foot Outside).

The letters are the result of personal experiences and poetic reflections made by Caesar over the past 3 years.
The 10 items that comprise the disc are varied, approaching more electronic sounds that recall bands like Air or Boards of Canada (tu es mes yeux, novembre, la pluie) and through more traditional melodies that may remind Jane Birkin (pourquoi ...) or Dominique A. (September, seul sans toi.penseés ...).

In late 2006, become part of the group along with Cesar Bueno (guitars, fender rhodes, programming, drum machines) and Samantha Martinez (vocals, theremin, percussion, guitar), Gorka Arellano (as violinist / cellist) Raquel Cuartero (the synthesizer), Ibai Armendariz (bass, cajon and percussion) and David Olloqui (on drums and percussion), later replaced by Alberto Zarraluqui.

The album has received very good reviews in specialized areas such as Mondo Sonoro, musicals, entertainment guide, and so on.
He was also rated the third best pop album of the year at the festival indie Pop - Art de Caceres 2007, competing with discs of most renowned national groups (Igloo, Yugoplástica, April's Fools Day or Moscow).

During 2008 and following a change of 'management' (formerly Edu Ugarte Underhill Records, now working with ThisMonkey Management, Madrid), involved in presenting their live album, where basic training combine guitars, strings, synths and voice, with another one that includes his classic rhythmic base.

Today, nearly two years after the release of the album, and after the time of stage fright, improvisation and lack of experience, already have several presentations to his credit, the same that have kept busy since the second half of the year past, and made them walk several Spanish cities, such as Navarra, Vitoria, Bilbao, Barcelona, Vigo and Madrid.
